When we started producing Parmigiano Reggiano, the lira was still the Italian currency. The first dairy cooperative in the village opened in 1924. That milestone, unfortunately, was tarnished by the murder of Antonio Denti, one of its promoters and founding members. His only fault had been to dream of a better, fairer, and more prosperous future for the farmers and their families.
From that day on, every day, here at the Gavasseto e Roncadella Dairy we keep working confidently to build a better future. We are an historic brand with deep rooted traditions in the Parmigiano Reggiano production area.

Goodness worth sharing
Our farmers care for the different breeds of cattle with great enthusiasm, passion, love, and respecting biodiversity. Cows feed on fresh grass and hay. Their nutritious milk is the main ingredient of our products. Every wheel of cheese pampered by our patient cheesemakers has a story: every bite is an account, every piece is a statement of dedication.

Our Products
A symphony of flavours and aromas, Gavasseto e Roncadella Dairy Parmigiano Reggiano is made with care, patience, and artisanal methods. In our outlets and on our website, you find our Parmigiano Reggiano with its rich, balanced, and unique flavour, aged 12, 24, and 40 months.
From the fresh milk of our farms we also make Ricotta, which flies off the shelves. The secret behind our Ricotta is… simplicity! We use the serum from the fattest milk, and full fresh morning milk. The rest is done by the expertise of our cheesemakers. It is available only on Wednesdays and Fridays, at the outlet in Gavasseto.
